Volunteer Opportunities

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

We’ve got a couple of volunteer opportunities coming up over the next few weeks (see below). We’re still working toward our goal of 1,000 service hours for the year, so be sure to log any service hours you’ve completed through the Staff Senate website: https://staffsenate.ecu.edu/community_service/

Thank you all for your time and service!

🩺 Pirate Nurse 5K

The Pirate Nurse 5K is just around the corner and they would love your help to make the event a success! Volunteer opportunities include: serving as course guides, assisting with runner registration, greeting and cheering runners at the finish line and helping with the medal ceremony.

📅 Saturday, April 11
⏰ 7 a.m.– 11 a.m.

Volunteers will receive four verified service hours through the GivePulse volunteer management system! Students are also welcome to volunteer, so please forward to any student groups that could use verified volunteer/service hours! There are still a few spots available for volunteers; registration closes Friday, April 10.

If you have questions, please contact Katy Locke at lockek19@ecu.edu. Volunteers can register for the event at https://givepul.se/pwito6
