Nominations are OPEN for Staff Senate!
The Staff Senate is now accepting nominations for the 2018-2020 term!
To serve as a Staff Senator, employees must be classified as full-time permanent SHRA, CSS or EHRA Non-faculty; have 12 months of continuous service in a permanent position with the university prior to nomination; have no active disciplinary actions (or written warnings) for unsatisfactory job performance or unacceptable personal conduct; and have the approval of their supervisor.
Elected Senator’s have a responsibility to be the voice of their peers, to attend and participate in the monthly Staff Senate meetings (missing no more than three meetings per year), and to actively participate in committee work for the betterment of the staff, Senate and University.
Nominations will be accepted through Feb 27, 2018.
