ECU will celebrate Staff Appreciation Month in April 2023!!
The Staff Senate Rewards & Recognition Committee has dedicated their time and energy to organizing events for the week and we hope that you will take part in the celebration!

2023 Staff Appreciation Month Events:
Saturday April 1 – Online Auction Begins
- East Carolina University’s Staff Senate Scholarship Committee will host an Online Auction to benefit the Gail Jordan Memorial Scholarship and the Children of SHRA Employees Scholarship. Auction ends 11:59 pm on April 15.
- ECU Staff Senate Auction
Wednesday April 12 – B.A.L.L. Event
- Seventh Annual B.A.L.L Event 1-3pm at MCSC, Ballroom B

Friday April 14 – ECU Baseball Game
- Discounted tickets for ECU vs Cincinnati 6pm Game; $4 per ticket, link to be sent out soon
Monday April 17 – Friday April 21 – Free Access to the Recreation Centers
- ECU Faculty and Staff – free access to the Eakin Student Recreation Center and the Health Sciences Campus Recreation Center April 17th -21st. Please bring your ECU 1Card to access.
Tuesday April 18 – Staff Appreciation Meal Main Campus
- Staff (SHRA, CSS, EHRA Non-Faculty) can use ECU 1Card at West End dining hall from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm *We encourage you to join us but if you cannot make it, it can be used anytime this week.
Thursday April 20 – Staff Appreciation Meal Health Sciences Campus
- Cookout Style lunch for staff that RSVP’d (ECU 1Card required) RSVP Here
- Laupus Lake from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
Wednesday April 26 – Outstanding Staff Awards Ceremony Live Stream
- The winners of the Outstanding Staff Awards for each Division will be announced and recognized! The award ceremony live stream will start at 3:00 pm. Tune in for the ceremony!

Thursday April 27 – Employee Resources Panel
